University offices closed Friday, January 10 due to inclement weather

In light of expected inclement weather, university offices will be CLOSED Friday, Jan. 10 (tomorrow).
With classes currently not in session, and due to the timing and severity of the expected weather system, many campus services will also close tomorrow. This includes all Dining Services locations, The Marc L. Burnett Student Recreation & Fitness Center, J.J. Oakley Health Services, the University Bookstore, The Post (Mail Services) and the Volpe Library.
The Admissions, Business (including Bursar), Financial Aid, Military & Veterans Affairs, and Scholarships offices will be available by phone or email.
The Center for Counseling and Mental Health Wellness will have the Eagle Eye Crisis Hotline Available 24/7 for any urgent matters at 855-206-8997. In addition, the campus community may access Tennessee Crisis Chat by texting "Hello" to 741-741. Volunteer Behavioral Health’s mental health crisis hotline number is 1-800-704-2651.
Further updates will be provided via the university's Facebook page, X (formerly Twitter) account, Instagram story, and university website as information becomes available.

At this time, no changes have been made to the Thursday, Jan. 16 start date for spring 2025 classes or the Tuesday, Jan. 14 reopening date for residence halls.
Please help us prepare for the incoming weather by securely closing all windows in your offices, rooms and common areas before you depart for the day. Also consider using your building's ADA accessible entrance, as opposed to the stairs, during icy conditions.
